APHRODISIAC CAKE WITH JULIA CORBETT

We need more of this.  And of course more cake in general these days.  

My dear sister, photographer, and Dessert Alchemist Julia Corbett of Dessert Medicine joined me recently to create a potent + deeply effective raw aphrodisiac cacao cake sublimely layered with adaptogens, love herbs, along with my Love Potion that had been infusing for months and was ready for "her" moment.  She topped all this beauty with the most amazing Hibiscus Rose frosting.  

As usual, Julia brought her goddess vibes and intuitive alchemy gifts to this process.  And the result is a cake that everyone should have on hand these days.  To be eaten alone, shared with friends, or enjoyed with your beloved.  This divine cake's unique combination of ingredients promises to manifest in a mood lift + brightening of your spirit, will fuel powerful creative sparks, and ignite your inner fire.  

APHRODISIAC CAKE

CRUST

Combine the following in a food processor and press gently + evenly into cake pan.  Place in freezer to set. 

  • 2 C Coconut Flakes
  • 3T Honey or Venus Nectar
  • 5 Medjool Dates, pitted
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

CAKE

Combine the following ingredients in high speed blender until smooth.  Pour evenly over the crust and place back in the freezer to set. 

  • 2 C Cashews
  • 1.5 C water
  • 1/3 C Cacao Butter
  • 3 T Vanilla Ghee
  • 1 T Lucuma
  • 1T Maca
  • 3 T Tocos
  • 1/4 C Cacao Powder
  • 1/4 C Raw Honey
  • 1T Rose Water Hydrosol
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla bean powder
  • Few pinches sea salt

HIBISCUS ROSE FROSTING

Combine the following ingredients in high speed blender until smooth.  Pour on to the top of cake and return to freezer to set for an hour or longer.  Once ready, remove from freezer and enjoy.
